Yorba Linda Library Author Event!

The Book "Wonder" was picked by the city of Yorba Linda for the "One City One Book" read.  I have two copies in the library if you would like to read this story by first-time author, R.J. Palacio. This is a wonderful story about a 5th grade boy, Auggie, born with a facial deformity that prevented him from going to a mainstream school--unitl now.

The author, R. J. Palacio is coming to Yorba Linda!

Students and adults meet author R. J. Palacio as she discusses her award-winning book, Wonder. After her presentation, she will take questions from the audience, followed by a book sale and a limited book signing. Books will be available for sale at the event.
This event will be held at the
Thomas Lasorda Field House
